After packing up camp we headed towards Salt Lake City. Clara and Susumu had to get back to the Bay, so we ended up dropping them off at the airport and staying in a hotel. Other than eating at a Mexican restaurant and swimming in the hotel's indoor pool, we didn't do a whole lot in Salt Lake. Liz, Tony, Clara, and Emma did, however, find someone in Utah who was selling Border Collie puppies. After searching in several classified ads throughout the first half of the trip, this came as exciting news!
