We left our hotel early in anticipation for the long day of driving ahead as well as the coming of a new member of the Hadly-Barnosky family. A puppy! We drove to Beaver, Utah to pick up their 7 week old Border Collie puppy (I'll refer to her as Gypsy, her name, but she didn't have an official name for a few days). We then continued to Gunnison, Colorado. Other than an occasional puppy stop and dinner at a Nepali-Indian restaurant in Grand Junction, we pretty much drove straight through, getting to our hotel in Gunnison after 10pm.
